Vietnam ruined my food standards (and my wallet is fine)

I went to Ho Chi Minh City during Tết with a loose plan and a very serious appetite. what followed was 8 days of accidental Michelin selects, street eats, a solo café date while my husband got tattooed for 6 hours, a food tour that changed me, and a pork belly banh mi I'm still thinking about. my wallet survived. my food standards did not. full trip, all the eats, zero regrets. Yummy food makes me so happy. Left with the biggest smile just from pure awe by the food here. I don't recommend dishes often but this one dish I will never stop recommending it. My husband and I almost turned around but found this tiny, whole in the wall restaurant filled with locals - that's how you know it's good. If you try anything from your trip to HCMC, it's this.
