The surprisingly persistent attempts to revive Paganism under the new Christian Roman Emperors.

We shall see though, that there were many attempted revivals of Paganism, even as late as in 472 AD in the western Roman Empire under the likely crypto pagan emperor Anthemius. This is the tale of the slow death of Paganism, and how the flame of antiquity was extinguished by religious fanaticism. 🤗 One-Time Donation?
