Deadlock: Apollo Is Here.

About time. After weeks of waiting, Apollo is finally in the game. The question remains: is he worth the hype? Will I actually like him? Will I play Apollo past this point? Your answers await. This marks the end of the "Vote Apollo" saga of videos, covering the beginning of the vote all the way to the release of the final character. Making these videos has been some of the most fun I have had in Deadlock. Getting to show my initial reactions to each character and try them out the second they're released is extremely exciting. If you've stuck with me through these videos, I appreciate you to the fullest extent. Here are my closing thoughts: It doesn't matter who you voted for or how much you voted. These videos were meant to be funny and I am to be the butt of the joke. Every comment you leave, whether you were for or against Apollo, I read and used to fuel this false drama I was creating throughout the videos. Taking the vote seriously wasn't the goal of these videos, it was meant to be a joke simulating the desperation someone would feel latching onto a character with no chance of winning. From the beginning we all knew Apollo would be at best second to last because all of the other characters were more visually appealing and I accepted that. As these videos go on, you see the quality of the videos increase. The five stages of grief are the basis for each video. In the end, as Apollo lost, I won. I got to make the videos I wanted to make, even if it meant voting for Celeste to try and make sure I got the ending I wanted. I hope this inspires every single one of you to make videos of your own, and that I get to watch them someday. For now, thanks for watching. I'll see you for the REAL Apollo video soon.
