In this video, I'll take you with me to the Park and Castle Festival in Greiz and show you my real day as a fairground operator – from the initial setup to the final takedown. You'll be there as we prepare the grounds, lay cables and hoses, assemble the children's carousel, work on the roof, and get everything ready for operation. Of course, I'll also show you the Park and Castle Festival itself, the visitors, the special atmosphere in Greiz, the castle, the fairground, the rides, and some impressions of the vintage car and the festival activities. But this video isn't just about setting up, operating, and dismantling a children's carousel. Lately, I've heard from some colleagues that I should stop making YouTube videos and that my videos supposedly don't do the fairground industry any favors. To this day, I'm not entirely sure what they mean by that. I show my daily life honestly, respectfully, and as I actually experience it. And that's why I'm saying quite clearly: I'm continuing. I will continue to connect my daily life as a fairground operator with YouTube, taking you behind the scenes and showing you how much work, passion, responsibility, and heart goes into running a fairground business. I've never felt as fit, as determined, and as good as I do today. I've found my path and feel that I'm moving forward every day. What others think no longer determines my course.
