Argentinian Slang vs Italian Speakers | Can they understand it?
Lunfardo is an Argentinian slang - an argot originated and developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in the lower classes in Buenos Aires. In this video, we play a language game to look for similarities between Argentinian Spanish slang and the Italian language/languages. The participants of the game come from different regions of Italy and apart from Italian they also speak their local dialects. We came to some interesting conclusions, join in the discussion in the comments below. š¤ š§ Notes from Augusto regarding his transcription: *re: common intensifier (āveryā) for Lunfardo. I would have normally said this if talking to other Argentines. *medio: common downtoner (āa bitā) for Lunfardo (maybe Spanish). I would have normally said this if talking to other Spanish speakers. *una banda de: less common alternative meaning āmanyā. š Contribute to the translation of this video ā http://www.youtube.com/timedtext_vide... āŖ@Ecolinguist⬠Support my Work: My name is Norbert Wierzbicki and I am the creator of this channel. āļøBuy me a Coffee ā https://www.paypal.me/ecolinguist (I appreciate every donation no matter how big or smallš¤ ) š±Instagram: @the.ecolinguist š¤šµš±šØāš« Book a Polish Lesson with Norbert ā http://ecolinguist.com/ (language conversation practice) Contact details for the guests of the show are: š¤The host of today's show: Augusto Daro, Twitter: @AugustoDaro āš¼Andrea Zoller - Russian Italian translator š±Instagram: @dererumverdura š¤ Claudio Di Domenico - the Abruzzese speaker š±Instagram: claudiomaladestra & @mala.destra š“ Filippo Rubino - Italian and English teacher š„YouTube Channel ā @Filippo Rubino ā Ā Ā Ā /Ā @filipporubino4163Ā Ā š„Recommended videos: š¤ Latin Language Spoken | Can Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian speakers understand it? ā Ā Ā Ā ā¢Ā LatinĀ LanguageĀ SpokenĀ |Ā CanĀ Spanish,Ā Portu...Ā Ā š¤Catalan Language | Can Spanish and French speakers understand? ā Ā Ā Ā ā¢Ā CatalanĀ LanguageĀ |Ā CanĀ SpanishĀ andĀ FrenchĀ ...Ā Ā š®š¹š¤Trentino Dialect | Can Spanish, Catalan, and Portuguese speakers understand it? ā Ā Ā Ā ā¢Ā DialectĀ ofĀ VenetianĀ |Ā CanĀ Spanish,Ā Catalan...Ā Ā š«š·š®š¹š§š·š²š½French Language | Can Italian, Spanish and Portuguese speakers understand? ā Ā Ā Ā ā¢Ā FrenchĀ LanguageĀ |Ā CanĀ Italian,Ā SpanishĀ and...Ā Ā š®š¹š§š·š²š½Italian Language | Can Spanish and Portuguese speakers understand? ā Ā Ā Ā ā¢Ā ItalianĀ LanguageĀ |Ā CanĀ SpanishĀ andĀ Portugu...Ā Ā š§š·š²š½š®š¹Brazilian Portuguese | Can Spanish and Italian speakers understand? ā Ā Ā Ā ā¢Ā BrazilianĀ PortugueseĀ |Ā CanĀ SpanishĀ andĀ Ita...Ā Ā š¤ š§š·š²š½Norbert speaking Spanish to Polyglot Erika - a Brazilian Portuguese speaker. ā Ā Ā Ā ā¢Ā ComparacionĀ LenguasĀ RomancesĀ |Ā EspaƱolĀ vs....Ā Ā Romance Languages Comparison Playlist ā Ā Ā Ā ā¢Ā RomanceĀ LanguagesĀ ComparisonĀ Ā š¤ Big hug to everyone reading my video descriptions!
