Guitarist, composer, fine artist, Andrea Razzauti, releases a new version of Madalena, written by Brazilian composer's, Ivan Lins and Ronaldo Monteiro de Souza in 1970. Andrea presents the song with a new arrangement, delivering a sublime and romantic introduction that tells the story. His guitar solo features his distinct, rich, elegant and melodic signature style. When Andrea heard Madalena performed by the group Sambossa on a recent trip to Italy, he was inspired and immediately knew he wanted to collaborate with the group and create a new arrangement of the song. Madalena features the sultry vocals of Teresa Fallai, lead singer and co-founding member of Sambossa. On drums/co-founder of Sambossa is Massimiliano Balli. Rhythm guitar and background vocals by Pino Arborea, and on bass is Filipo Poggi. Also, featured on Rhodes strings synthesizer is Gregg Karukas. Paul Brown on percussion. Recorded in Tuscany, Italy and Los Angeles, California. Co-Produced by Andrea Razzauti and Paul Brown.
