Hiking AVALANCHE PEAK in Yellowstone National Park

Avalanche Peak is a 10,568ft mountain in East Yellowstone, with roughly 2,100ft of elevation gain in just 2.3 miles. It's a relatively short but strenuous trail, often covered in snow even into late spring and early summer, with many switchbacks. The path is mildly difficult to follow, as it is often obstructed by snow, but pretty straightforward up the mountain. Join me as we hike this peak, with beautiful views of Yellowstone lake below and the Absaroka Range out to the East.
