The harrowing disease promises to break the body and mind - but Daddy would never let it break his spirit. My father is a beautiful, hardworking man who lived his entire life serving others. Always the supporter, the lover, the giver - and the most cherished brother, son, husband, father, colleague, and friend. Everyone who met Louie knew they were in the presence of someone so special. My father is Stage 5 Parkinson’s disease, and his form is unforgiving and fast progressing.
