HII THERE WORLD | what to expect on Mount Kinabalu - first time experience!

Hi beloveds ♡ Welcome to our travel series: “Hii There World” where The Hii sisters travel, share stories and meet people around the world! Our cute rojak mix of people going on an adventure! It was a special, revelatory and challenging experience (though our parents say that it's now a much more luxurious and modern hike with all the steps and facilities!). It was a personal breakthrough/breaking for me, as I battled private thoughts and held a heavy heart from personal life struggles. Zig-Zag in my climb, so my life felt like that too, but standing on layers of history does provide some perspective. It's crazy what you end up thinking about at the top of the mountain: you either enjoy the view, vow to the leave your burdens on the mountain, or brave yourself to face what's next when you descent. For me, it's a mixture of all and none. and mainly trying to survive and breathe lol. The layers of clothes really get to you! Although I could've trained more for sure... So incredibly proud of the group, and I wouldn't have exchanged this bond for anything else. TMI: so glad I didn't need to pee in between the rest stops.
