Ukrainian General Staff Confirms Attack The General Staff in Kyiv confirmed the attack. "Today, the army's special forces damaged the oil refinery in Omsk," the staff announced on social media. According to the statement, the Ukrainian combat drones covered a distance of more than 2,500 kilometers. Preliminary information indicates that a facility with a processing capacity of 8.4 million tons of crude oil per year was hit. Alert also in Novosibirsk In the Siberian region of Novosibirsk, more than 3,000 kilometers from Ukraine, a drone alert was triggered for the first time this evening (local time). Residents were urged by authorities to stay indoors and seek shelter if possible. Operations at Novosibirsk Airport were temporarily suspended. No further details about the threat were provided.
