In this HVAC training video, I demonstrate how to connect a vacuum pump step-by-step to an air conditioner to perform the vacuum procedure. This evacuates the piping to prepare it for refrigerant. I create a 200-micron vacuum and break the vacuum with refrigerant from the unit's service valves. Ensure you are EPA 608 certified before handling refrigerants.
