Christian Olsson Triple Jump Triumph | Gothenburg 2006 | Road To Munich 2022

During the 2000s, few athletes were more dominant in triple jump events than Sweden’s Christian Olsson. In 2006 Olsson was Olympic Champion (Athens 2004), a former World Indoor (Birmingham 2003, Budapest 2004) and Outdoor (Paris 2003) Champion and the reigning European Champion. (Munich 2002) So the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg was a homecoming celebration for the conquering Swede.
