Sant Nirankari Mission, Kalka Branch, District Panchkula, Haryana, India, organized a massive and inspiring cleanliness drive in the Kandiala Panchayat Block, Pinjore, District Panchkula, Haryana, and the Kalka region to commemorate the 72nd birth anniversary of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj. The drive was specifically targeted at the Nagal Bhaga water pond in Kandiala Panchayat, the Tagra Kaliram water pond in Kalka Municipal Council, and the Kalka Mata drinking water spring. The Mission's Sangat participated with enthusiasm, discipline, and a spirit of service. Shri Chaman Lal Ji, Director of the Kalka Sant Nirankari Mission Sevadal, stated that during the drive, hundreds of volunteers collected and cleaned the ponds, natural springs, and surrounding public areas. Sangat members sent a powerful message of environmental protection by removing plastic, polythene, silt, and other waste from water sources. During this period, local residents were encouraged to maintain cleanliness, protect water sources from pollution, and fulfill their collective responsibility. The role of the Kandiala Panchayat was crucial in ensuring the smooth conduct of the program. Under the leadership of District Panchkula Sarpanch Association President Karan Singh Kandiala, the Panchayat not only provided necessary support but also arranged for e-rickshaws for the cleanliness drive, which transported the collected waste to safe locations. This accelerated the campaign and ensured its successful completion on time. Mission representatives explained that the campaign was not limited to cleanliness, but rather aimed to strengthen the values ​​of service, cleanliness, environmental protection, and humanity in society. They stated that "service is the truest tribute," and in this spirit, the Mission will continue to organize public welfare programs such as blood donation camps, tree plantations, drug de-addiction awareness, and cleanliness from time to time. At the end of the campaign, the Sangat members collectively pledged to continue actively contributing to a clean, healthy, and aware society by regularly conducting cleanliness drives in their respective areas.
