Whether rigid (Gre) or tubular (the classic above-ground pools with exposed soft liner) and made of various materials (wood, steel, composite). We offer it in a kit with tape to hide the joints, the appropriate mastic for gluing the panels, and the installation diagram! N.B.: The curb tiles are not included, as everyone can choose the color that best suits their context! In this video, we install it on a concrete platform, but it can also be used more simply on a sand base with a tiled perimeter. In this case, it stays firmly in place and there's no need to stagger or hold it together because the curb itself holds it in place. (minute 7) For pools with a substructure (cast beam), the most suitable material is reticulated foam, which provides a soft support while also protecting the liner. It doesn't absorb water and therefore doesn't develop unpleasant odors or rot. (8 minutes) Vincenzo & Fausto's tips: PREPARATION: Prepare the materials and make sure you have everything you need. First, mark out the base on the concrete platform or on very well-compacted soil (avoid adding soil! Watch our video on how to prepare the base here.) Prepare some panels, cut in half. INSTALLATION: Lay the panels with the writing facing down (they might be visible if using a thin liner!) Leave the groove facing up when gluing them. Lay the mats staggered to ensure greater rigidity. Don't overdo the mastic, as this could widen the joints. Hold the panels together with pieces of tape immediately after gluing. FINISHING: You can finish the joints with mastic if you see excessively wide joints, but scrape it well with a spatula to avoid lumps on the surface. You can use duct tape. Included in the kit to cover all the joints It's best to wait 1 day for the mastic to dry thoroughly TRACING: Trace the perimeter of the pool on the panels. N.B.: If you already have the tiles and want to create the curb, keep in mind that they must be laid at the same level as the 3-centimeter thick mat.
