Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro singing at 2023 Festival of Speed: 11,000rpm Cosworth V12 Sound!

I never imagined that this spaceship on four wheels would have seen the light when it was unveiled in 2018 at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The original concept car was designed and proposed for the new Le Mans/WEC Hypercar class regulations but unfortunately the project was abandoned. Luckily not all has been lost and the Valkyrie AMR Pro was designed to squeeze in as much performance from the road-legal Valkyrie as possible, benefiting of the Le Mans project's race-optimised chassis, aerodynamics and powertrain technology but without having to comply with any rules. The AMR Pro has a 380mm longer wheelbase and a track that is 96mm wider at the front and 115mm wider at the rear compared to the road-legal Valkyrie. A ferocious aerodynamic package adds an additional 266mm in length and it allows to generate twice the downforce of the Valkyrie road car and to endure lateral acceleration of more than 3G. It's powered by the glorious Cosworth 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine which is able to rev up to 11,000 rpm and produces 1,000 hp. The Valkyrie AMR Pro takes off in relative silence up to about 10 km/h , thanks to the help of 48V electric motor. Once the accelerator is pressed, there is no hybrid system to support it.
