It's originally an animation, but honestly it looks so FNF-like that I genuinely think it could work perfectly as a playable mod. I really hope they release the mod because this is easily among the best recreations I've seen so far. In this version, Headless Dipsy breaks The Scary Lion's head off first before attaching it onto his neck, which honestly makes a lot more sense. Compared to V3 where he pulls the Lion's head out, it's pretty funny seeing two completely different interpretations of the same moment. That's one of my favorite things about these recreations because everyone has their own vision for how The Lion's Mouth should look. Besides this new version, which I'll call V4, I'll also be showcasing every other major recreation of the song except the Scratch versions since those deserve their own separate video. We'll be looking at the original low effort V1, the high effort V2, the V3, the Fun-Sized version and the Classic mode to see how each one approaches the song differently. It's honestly crazy how many fan recreations have appeared before the official visualizer is even out, and the quality somehow keeps getting better every single time. About The Lion's Mouth itself, this is the official sequel song to Nocturnal Protocol by sancothefox and it goes insanely hard. The Guardian enters the Satellite Station and encounters Headless Dipsy... well not exactly Headless Dipsy anymore because now we got this cursed fanon design where The Scary Lion is attached directly onto his neck. Instead of the iconic screaming sounds from Nocturnal Protocol, this song uses chainsaw sounds which completely changes the atmosphere. Both Nocturnal Protocol and The Lion's Mouth are OST songs for Myths of Tubbyland, and with how popular both songs already are, this honestly feels like it's becoming the most anticipated Slendytubbies FNF mod ever. The music is insane, the horror atmosphere is beautiful and the community keeps pushing these fan recreations further every week. The Fun-Sized version was unexpectedly charming, the Classic version was a cool surprise and this new V4 honestly feels like the strongest recreation so far. Absolute peak and one of the coolest FNF horror projects happening right now.
