Our day cruise from Cat Ba Island took us deep into the bay—past limestone cliffs, floating villages, and emerald coves. We kayaked through sea caves, found hidden beaches, and swam in secluded lagoons completely alone. At one point, we even jumped off the boat and swam to a deserted island. We got to know our fellow travelers, shared stories and laughs on the top deck, and ended the day at Monkey Island, where the monkeys were… a little too comfortable around humans.
