This documentary series, which you will enjoy watching, contains many surprises. Video Text I'm Yunus Emre Turker. We have been processing Bayburt stone since childhood. We learned this business from our fathers and grandfathers. My father has taught and trained me in the workshop since I was 8 years old. We've grown from the ground up. We did not learn this profession later. Our elders started us in this business when they were 8-9 years old. Every aspect of our job is very difficult. Our job is not easy. The only good thing about our business is this: Our work is always in sight, everywhere. Everyone sees our business. Everyone appreciates our work. That's the beauty of our job. Other aspects of our business are very difficult. Not everyone can stand this job. Not every person can do this job. A person who is trained from the ground up can do the stone work. We do not see the stone as a material that we sell and earn money. We have a special emotional bond with the stone. Stone is like drinking water for us. I come to the workshop in the winter. I look at the stones. I wander around the stones. Bayburt stone is a quality stone in Turkey. Bayburt stone is one of the best quality stones in Turkey. Bayburt stone becomes very soft when it comes out of the quarry. As the stone stands, it hardens. You can even carve it with chisels while in the quarry. Then it hardens and becomes stronger over time. Our stone is more difficult to process than marble. More mastery is required to process Bayburt stone. Each time you hit the hammer, you must estimate how many stones the hammer will penetrate. If you don't guess, the stone will break. After breaking the stone, irreparable problems arise. They say, "A master who can process Bayburt stone can process all difficult stones." We are inspired by our elders. There are situations where we improvise while processing the stone. The most difficult thing is to make muqarnas on the stone. In this sense, we do the most difficult. But we still could not become masters like our grandfathers. Someone who says I am the best master of this job cannot even be an apprentice of that job. We attach great importance to continuous improvement. Bayburt stone can be offered wherever stone is preferred. We do not make flooring with Bayburt stone. We make minbars, mihrabs, minarets and fountains in mosques with Bayburt stone. We also make tombs, siding and fountains with Bayburt stone. There are prejudices about stone. We process Bayburt Stone in facade cladding. They say stone is cold. The stone itself is cold. However, the stone has an insulating feature. Stone does not insulate cold or heat. There are stone houses. Stone houses are cool in summer and warm in winter. In those houses, you can easily get warm even with a small stove. ---- Key words of this movie: Stone Carving Master Yunus Emre in Master Hands Your Story, about stone carving, masonry, Bayburt stone, Bayburt stone tomb, Bayburt stone house, about Bayburt stone simile, Bayburt stone features, Bayburt stone barbecue how It happens, Bayburt stone coating, in the context of Bayburt natural stone, the art of stone carving, about stone carving, how a stone carving machine works, how to make a stone carving, stone carving and stone art, muqarnas, stone pulpit, stone minaret, stone fountain, stone tomb and informed us about stonework.
