On March 28, 2026, I took a stroll along the Ooka River Promenade in Yokohama, where the cherry blossoms were almost in full bloom! I'll share a video that captures the breathtaking cherry blossom avenue stretching approximately 5km from Gumyoji Temple to Hinodecho. There are plenty of highlights, including a performance by the Nikko Monkey Troupe at Gumyoji Kannon, Yokohama's oldest temple, the collaboration of the Keikyu Line and the cherry blossoms, and the skillful steering of a houseboat. After my stroll, I headed to the "Thai Area" near Hinodecho. I enjoyed authentic Thai cuisine at the popular restaurant "Kua Siam."
