I started a new solo run of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age using only Balthier, the true Leading Man of the story. Can I finish the whole game using only one character? The Rules of the Run: Character: Balthier (Solo). Guests: Gambits Off The Restriction: Only Balthier may be used in combat. Currently, Balthier does not use Gambits either, but that could be subject to change should the need arise. Part 3 covers the voyage to Archades, the imperial capital.
