A farewell in Thailand – and suddenly my trip takes a completely different turn. In this travel vlog, I'll take you with me from Thailand to Manila in the Philippines 🇵🇭. I say goodbye to Nok in Khon Kaen, travel on via Bangkok, and finally land in a completely different world. In Manila, I'll show you the city's true character: from unusual gas stations with pumps hanging from the ceiling to streets and neighborhoods where life is very different. I walk through Intramuros, discover food markets, and see security everywhere. Later, I also come to a poorer area where, among other things, I encounter a man with a rooster – apparently for sparring. Food also becomes a challenge: vegetarian options are hard to find, and much of it is deep-fried. In the evening, I continue through an illuminated tunnel to another night market. There, I meet two small children asking for money. To wrap things up, I'll show you my €30 Airbnb with a view over Manila at night.
