Volkswagen presents the new Tayron, an SUV that strengthens its range with a premium, spacious, and highly technological offering. Manufactured in Wolfsburg, the brand's heartland, the Tayron is Volkswagen's second-largest SUV, approaching the iconic Touareg in both size and performance. Space and modularity at another level With its 4.79 meters in length and a wheelbase of 2.79 meters, the Tayron offers a truly spacious interior. It is available with five or seven seats, making it an ideal choice for families and those who need versatility without sacrificing comfort. Superior comfort for all passengers One of the Tayron's greatest attractions is its commitment to acoustic and ride comfort. It features 4.96 mm thick acoustic glass, which reduces interior noise by up to 5 decibels, ensuring a serene environment even at high speeds. In the 4MOTION and eHybrid versions, the Tayron comes standard with the new DCC Pro adaptive suspension with dual-valve active dampers. This technology improves body stability and provides more precise and enjoyable driving dynamics. It also offers up to 20 different interior configuration combinations and ergoActive Plus seats with massage function, underscoring the model's premium focus. Engines for all profiles The Tayron stands out not only for its design and comfort, but also for its varied engine offering: Gasoline and diesel engines Mild hybrid system (ECO label) Plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version with up to 124 km of electric range thanks to its 19.7 kWh net battery The eHybrid version also allows for fast charging: up to 11 kW in alternating current (AC) and up to 50 kW in direct current (DC), reaching 80% charge in just 20 minutes. Preference for electrification To date, 67% of orders are for electrified versions: 44% correspond to the eTSI engine, which offers seven seats with an ECO label. 23% choose the PHEV version, with a ZERO label (limited to five seats). 30% of customers continue to opt for the TDI engine.
