This video looks back at the evolution of the Japanese idol image from the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras, along with the differences in atmosphere and aesthetics of each era. The Showa era was characterized by purity and elegance. The Heisei era saw a stronger emphasis on glamour and individuality. The Reiwa era is characterized by transparency and sophistication.
