How I made realistic eyes for animatronic
In this video I'd like to present how to create realistic eye model for your project either if it is animatronic or fursuit creation. The whole process of 3D design, then figuring out how to paint, cast and finish the eyes was really fun and helped me to learn thing or two about different material's properties. From first prototype to final result it was around 6-8 months (of course this was a side project of mine). I hope this will help some of you with your own project and you'll learn on my mistakes and make some of your own :) Eyes are available for digital download in my Etsy shop: Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/LeshenBen Any topic you'd like to discuss - fell free to DM me on Insta: Instagram: / leshen_ben Or if you feel generous support me on Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/leshen_ben Cheers 🥂 CHAPTERS 0:00 Design & printing 1:45 Preparations and painting 4:43 Silicone mold creation 6:36 1st resin casting 7:28 LED backlight preparation 7:57 2nd resin casting 8:56 Polishing 9:26 LED assembly and finish
