Falls and Mood Disorders
This session will be discussing mood disorders, including depression, mania and bipolar disorders, and their relationship with falls and osteoporosis. Drawing on findings from the professional doctorate research, the webinar will explore how mood disorders influence falls and the role of the physiotherapist. The session will also share insight into current research to co‑develop falls guidance for inpatient settings, aimed at supporting staff to deliver safer, more responsive care for patients with mood disorders.
