Kottankulangara Chamayavilakku comes on 24-25th March of every year. The participants predominantly men offer themselves to the deityin ideal Malayali woman costume and lamps meant for the occasion . The participants in the feminine outfits are emblematic of the festival and is gazed upon by the large crowd.
