SOHO Food Park Featuring Snowie Shaved Ice

We went to the SOHO Food Park and met up with Mark Olsen who is the creator of the food park and discussed how he came up the concept. Mark has created a park where food trucks come nightly to serve a fun and anticipating crowd. Mark also felt it was very important to have a business there that did not leave nightly, for that business he chose to setup a Snowie Shaved Ice Stand. He branded it with the Snowie Naturals look and is experiencing great success. This is a great business opportunity to show because Mark is doing extremely well with both is park and his shaved ice business despite the fact that he had never done any type of food service business before. When Mark approached us, he had never run a shaved ice business, yet he had a few things he wanted to make sure were part of his stand and business overall. The Shaved Ice he was serving needed to be smooth and delicious as well as fast, and the stand needed to draw a crowd on its own. Snowie was the perfect stand for him and his location. Mark also mentions how open the stand is for the public to see the process for making shaved ice as well as the employees, their cleanliness, and professionalism.
