Councilwoman Lucía Miranda submitted a request for information to the City Council regarding the stalled construction of the Provincial Civic Center on the former Francisquita Lucero site. Miranda pointed out that the land was donated for educational and cultural purposes and requested that its preservation as public property be prioritized, preventing its sale or private use. She also referred to the ongoing discussions in the sectoral working groups for the new Territorial Planning Plan, where topics such as urban densification, preservation of rural areas, and the 1,000–1,100 meter elevation range in the mountains are being addressed.
