MY TOP 5 BLANK CASSETTES

In this video I do a rundown of my all time favorite blank tapes. I gave this a lot of thought, thinking back on the many brands of blank cassette that I had used over the years. I narrowed it down to my 5 favorites! As I mention in the video, this has nothing to do with specs or technical information. It is solely based on my own personal opinion. I thought about the 5 blank cassettes that always seemed to give the best results. The tapes that gave the most accurate copy of the original source material. The ones that had the cleanest and most crisp sound. These are the 5 that I would choose. Of course, I realize there are many brands of blank tape out there that I have never tried. I am sure your top 5 would probably look different than mine. To each their own! Also, you will notice that all of the cassettes on this list are chrome. I always preferred chrome blank cassettes. Maybe someday I will do a list of my five favorite normal bias tapes. I have been a home recordist for most of my life. I don't record on cassette as much as I used to, but I still have a great fondness for tapes. I used to love making mix tapes back in the day, both for my car and for my walkman. And of course, it was always fun to send mix tapes to your friends in the mail, and to get tapes from them in return! What is your favorite blank tape? Which one sounded best in your opinion?
