Protesi d'anca, quando è necessario l'intervento e i tempi di recupero

Hip replacement surgery is an increasingly common procedure: advances in medicine and technology now allow both young patients and those over 100 to receive a prosthesis. Sports, practiced at a competitive level without adequate preparation, compromises the hips of younger people; congenital or age-related conditions are risks for older people. Difficulty crossing one's legs or riding a bicycle, or groin pain, are the first warning signs that should prompt a patient to consult an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip surgery. Dr. Filippo Maria Randelli, Director of the Complex Operating Unit for Dysplastic Hip Surgery at ASST Gaetano Pini-CTO in Milan, discussed this issue in an interview with "Medicina Top," a column by the Italpress press agency.
