Warping for Navajo Style Weaving the Beginning
This shows how I warp for Navajo Style Weaving. I always take the warp OVER the warping rods in a figure "8". I'm using conduit for my warping rods. I prefer wood dowels but I find the conduit better for the wider weaving. The wood dowels I have available here bend too much. I use an adhesive measure tape that I found at the fabric store on the rods so I don't really have to make marks. I'm not Navajo, and this video can't replace a native Navajo teacher, but it can give you an idea of how it's done.
