This opportunity allowed our group to witness firsthand how the tradition of buying and selling on jukung boats still survives and remains a major tourist attraction in South Kalimantan. The strong river currents make the interaction between sellers and buyers even more unique—the boats move, but the buying and selling activity continues smoothly.
