I Didn’t Plan to Quit TMC… But This Changed Everything (Part 2)
This is Part 2 of my decision to leave TMC Transportation as a company driver. In this video, I talk about my personal experience with TMC trucking, including ongoing communication issues with my fleet manager, lack of empathy, and feeling constant pressure instead of support. Messages often went unanswered, problems were met with frustration, and it rarely felt like we were working together as a team. I also touch on flatbed trucking realities such as breakdowns, downtime, and how those situations affected truck driver pay. These are issues many company drivers deal with, and each one could easily be its own long-form video. Going into full detail on everything would have made this video over an hour long. This video is not meant to bash TMC Transportation or any individual. It’s simply my honest experience as a truck driver, shared for those who are considering TMC, currently driving flatbed, or thinking about leaving a trucking company. Every driver’s experience will be different — this is just mine. If you’re a truck driver and have dealt with similar issues involving fleet managers, breakdowns, or pay, feel free to share your experience in the comments. Let’s keep it respectful and informative. Part 3 is coming, where I’ll talk about what this transition has looked like and what’s next after leaving TMC. #steelhorse #truckdrivers #truckdriver #trucker
