15 accurately timed runs comparing front tyres on AC/DC at Bike Park Wales: Schwalbe Albert Radial 29x2.6 Gravity/Ultra Soft Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5 DH/MaxxGrip Rear control tyre: Maxxis Minion DHR2 27.5x2.5 DH/MaxxGrip Using detailed sector analysis, we find out which front tyre is the quickest without any marketing hype about the supposed benefits. Weather conditions were excellent and consistent through the day. Enough moisture to keep the dust down, but the roots were dry. Timing was done by picking the exact GoPro frame where I crossed a specific feature on the trail, e.g. tree, rock, root, post etc so that I could get accurate timing to 1/60th sec and construct a perfect lap taking the best from each sector.
