#Genesis 24:1-9 "A Wife for Isaac" (Sermon: Jae-cheol Lee) Isaac Takes Rebekah as His Wife 1 Now Abraham was old and well along in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way. 2 Then Abraham said to his oldest servant, who was in charge of all that he had, "Please put your hand under my thigh." 3 I make you swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I live. 4 But go to my country and my relatives and take a wife for my son Isaac." 5 The servant said, "If the woman is unwilling to follow me to this land, shall I take your son back to the land from which you came?" 6 But Abraham said to her, "Do not take my son back there." 7 For the LORD, the God of heaven, took me from my father's house and from the land of my birth, and he spoke to me and swore to me, saying, 'To your descendants I will give this land.'
