Every OT Prophecy of Jesus: The Hidden Key Most Christians Miss

There is a problem in the Hebrew Bible that the rabbis of the first century could not solve. Open the Old Testament to the prophets and you will find two completely different portraits of the coming Messiah. In one, he is a king. He rides into Jerusalem in triumph. He shatters his enemies like pottery. He sits on the throne of David and reigns forever. In the other, he is a slave. His back is torn open by a Roman whip. His hands and feet are pierced by nails. His clothes are gambled away by soldiers as he dies between two criminals. The rabbis could not reconcile them. Some of them began to teach that there must be two messiahs. One they called Messiah ben Joseph, the suffering servant. The other they called Messiah ben David, the triumphant king. Two anointed ones. Two arrivals. Two different roles. It was the only way to make sense of the contradiction. And it was wrong. In this video we walk through more than twenty Old Testament prophecies of Jesus, in the order they were fulfilled — from his birth in a small village called Bethlehem to the resurrection on a Sunday morning to the second coming that has not yet happened. The prophecies were written across a thousand years by men who never met each other. Moses wrote some of them in the desert. David wrote some of them in a cave hiding from Saul. Isaiah wrote some of them in the streets of Jerusalem seven hundred years before Christ. Daniel wrote some of them in a Babylonian palace. Malachi wrote the last of them four hundred years before the angel came to a teenage girl in Nazareth. None of these men knew each other. Most of them never read each other's books.
