Just being parakeets

Wallace is three years old, four in January (2027.) We got him from a family owned pet shop in Johnstone. As soon as I saw him I was locked on and wanted him. Originally, we got him to pair with Saphi, but that never happened as he paired with Olli who recently passed away due to being egg bound. They went on and has lots of beautiful chicks and done a fantastic job together. Wallace was in and out the nest hunting and being a wonderful father to his babies. Neo is one years old, two in August (2026.) Neo is Wallace's son who was unintentionally squashed in his egg by his mum, her first time, who passed away recently this year (2025) due to being egg bound. I still struggle with loosing her that way. Neo's legs are not just splay. His left leg was longer than his right making it impossible to hobble him and his right hip was forming around the wrong way but with persistence, determination and a lot of physio and sleepless nights, he went against all odds and experts we were working with couldn't believe he was the same bird. Also, he is very close to his brother Ralph and their behaviour together is just what it is, Neo's way. Ralph is one years old, two in November (2026.) He's such a gentle little parakeet. He is a twin to his brother Ralph and loves his big identical little brother, Neo. They're always preening each other and because of Neo's condition, he gets confused thinking Neo's displaying like a female. It was really hard to tell Ralph apart from Reginald, his twin until I figured out their face feathers are different. Reginald is one years old, two in November (2026.) He is the twin of Ralph and is more braver than him when it comes to getting them to come to our hand. He completely adores his sister who was in the nest with him and gets jealous any time Rubin is near her as he has taken a shine to Lucey. His nickname is Reg, or Reggy Toots cos he's just too cute. Lola is one years old, two in December (2026.) She was fed on steak when she was growing in the nest. She is so like her mum Olli, who passed away recently due to being egg bound (2025) When she was in the nest with her mum and dad, we were on a steal diet to loose weight and Wallace used to fly to our empty plated up on the counter, so we ended up leaving a little piece for him and sure enough, he and Rubin both flew to it, every time. #poopsnperches #birds #parakeets We want to welcome you here, where we upload budgie shorts, & videos Also, our budgies are an wee addiction Our budgie journey is documented right here, we thank you all of you who have helped us grow.
