Laragne, Montagne de Chabre, des paysages à couper le souffle.

Heading to the Laragne site for the third day of our club outing in the Baronnies. We're exploring a new site. We're supposed to have a cliff takeoff, but the terrain is quite rounded before a break that we can only guess at. The wind is slightly cross-wind and the sails taking off before me show that it's holding without any problem. I raise the sail, hold it, and take off. And then I understand: we have a huge rocky ledge with a vertical drop of 500 meters. I have the feeling of diving into an icy pool given the immensity of the landscape. But still, all the lights are green; it's laminar, climbing gently upwind of the ridge, and behind me I can see the clouds forming behind me. I can make progress and advance along this ridge; it's magical, and I gradually regain control of the flight. I make a first branch, return to the landing. It continues to work, and I make another pass up the ridge. I finally leave to join the landing, taking care of my approach above the village and landing at the campsite.
