Brand-new 2022 Full-glass Sanyo elevator - Ocean IMAX Movie Theater, Vladivostok, RU

Filming date: 07.03.2022 Here we have a brand-new Sanyo elevator from 2022 in a full - glass shaft! Although this lift was manufactured in 2021, it was installed only 26 days ago, on the 10th of February, and, as you know, I always write installation dates, when the lift is being commissioned. Anyways, let's go back to our Chinese generic, which runs, I suppose, on STEP controller. By the way, you may notice on 00:17, how small is its logic cabinet. The place, where this lift is located, is a historic Ocean Movie Theater, which was built in 1969 and was first such big cinema in Vladivostok. Of course, originally it didn't have any escalators or elevators. However, in 2013 the situation had changed. After a big renovation to IMAX format the building management installed two Sigma escalators, two Sanyo dumbwaiters and one glass wheelchair lift for three stops, and it was quite weird that they didn't install a regular elevator. Thankfully, the situation has changed again in 2021. Building owners decided to create a modern gastrobar, they renovated almost everything, except the cinema halls. A wheelchair lift was replaced with a 2022 Chinese Sanyo elevator with a very cool glass shaft. As usual, Sanyo's are not good at all, but this one even runs smooth and levels fast. All sides of its cabin are glass, except the floor and the ceiling. The building management did a great job, that they replaced a wheelchair elevator to a regular one. Well, this is not a Kone or a Hyundai, but anyways it looks really nice and it is much better, than that the lift that was before.
