We explored Morrocoy National Park with Venezuelan friends who had decided to return to their country to build their lives here. We visited Cayo Sombrero, celebrated in Los Juanes, silently sailed through the Tunnel of Love, and explored the Cave of the Virgin. But the most powerful thing wasn't the scenery—it was the attitude. How can a people maintain joy even in the midst of hardship? What does it truly mean to “live well”? Today we understood their culture! This chapter isn't just about tourism or the paradisiacal beaches of the Venezuelan Caribbean.
