Ultrasonic humidifier prevent bacteria growth

I'm using a few drops of bleach/javex for a 1 gallon reservoir of tap water in warm temperature. Have the humidifier run and smell close-up the mist: if there's too much bleach you will feel it by smell - DO NOT run it if it smells bleach, put fresh water with a smaller amount of bleach
