Ted Chippington - 'She Loves You' and interview on Pebble Mill (BBC)

(c) BBC. From the BBC's "Pebble Mill" programme, I think some time in the 1980s or early 1990s(?) - I'm really not certain. I think I originally got this from YouTube, maybe via a reference from this blog: http://bristle.wordpress.com/2007/09/... though I'm really not sure. The original clip -    • Video   - has since been removed (account closed). Hey, BBC/YouTube - don't close me down, just block or take this down if there's a copyright infringement issue. But I'd urge you to think on this first: this is comedy gold! Ted Chippington singing on Pebble Mill and then being interviewed by Paul Coia wearing a neck brace, in what can only be described as a passively-aggressive manner. Coia opens his interview with "Ted, you'll be pleased to know you've scored the highest rating ever on the naff-o-meter..." and closes it: "... I suppose when you're a cult, you're beyond reproach." Surreality this good is hard to find. Some online presences for Ted Chippington: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Chip... http://www.myspace.com/revtedchippington   / tedchippington1
