From P2 to the Pit Lane! Bathurst Heartbreak & a MASSIVE New PB (2:05.136)

What an absolute rollercoaster! The official race results are in from the AC EVO Malaysia GT3 Race server. 20 laps around Mount Panorama under strict 30L starting fuel limits, and it was pure adrenaline from start to finish. I lined up on the grid in P9. When the lights went out, Turn 1 was absolute carnage, but I managed to navigate the debris and slide into P6 by the second turn. From there, the car felt alive. I was putting on pressure, executing clean passes, and actually climbed all the way into a comfortable P2 spot, still maintaining P4 even after checking out of the pit lane. Then, the heartbreak of Bathurst struck on Lap 9. A heavy multi-car collision in Sector 2 heavily damaged my BMW M4 GT3 Evo, forcing me back to the pit lane for lengthy repairs. Trying to fight my way back, another error on Lap 13 meant a tow back to the pits, entirely destroying any hope of a top-five finish. I ultimately crossed the line in P11. BUT THE PACE IS UNDENIABLE! ⏱️🔥 I’ve always said I race faster than I practice, and the telemetry proves it. Under total pressure, I cracked a brand new personal best of 2:05.136! That is nearly 2 full seconds faster than my practice hot laps.
