Il Carro Armato arriva a Brescello per la prima volta - 1989

Two tanks were brought to Brescello to enrich the historical heritage connected to the world of Don Camillo and Peppone. The tank shown in this video is a French AMX tank, used during the Algerian War. The vehicle was brought to Brescello thanks to the efforts of Severino Zatti and Vittorio Marasi, and was loaned by a fur industry entrepreneur from the Veneto region, originally from Rosà. The tank arrived in Brescello on April 12, 1989, in preparation for the opening of the "Peppone and Don Camillo Museum." A few days later, on Sunday, April 16, 1989, the museum was officially inaugurated, marking an important milestone in preserving and promoting the town's history and cinematic heritage.
