FRANCO-BELGIAN COMICS: The beginning of Bande Dessinée

Why and how did Franco-Belgian comics evolve into such an important comics market? This is MY version of the history. It´s a streamlined story and I have simplified causalities of many developments. This is meant to keep the whole easier to digest. I often complain how there is not enough discussion about European comics in english. This video is my small contribution for this situation. Making Franco-Belgian comics familiar to more comics fans should also make it more appealing. At least this is my theory. It´s a long video(again) but I haven´t released videos for awhile so I´m a bit rusty and blame it on that.
