Who is the Bride of the Lamb?

Before the marriage was fully consumated, the man went to contract the marriage from the woman's father, leaving behind his promise ring that he will later come and finish marrying her. After this, the lady had to get herself ready by sowing her garment and preparing the spikenard oil for the day of the marriage where she would become a married wife. This culture is the same in he patterns of the New Testament: Jesus got himself a lady who is the church, and left her with his promise ring in the person of the Holy Spirit that she should sow her own garment (the righteousnesses of the saints) and prepare the oil, awaiting that day of the appearance of the Lord.
