We’re wrapping up our Airstream van life time in Crystal River with a day that was on my Bucket List for 16 years! From a long-awaited visit to see the home of a very special manatee to relaxing at a waterfront tiki bar and a sunset over the Gulf, this was the perfect final chapter to our time in Crystal River. The adventure continues as we head south... In this video: The Biscuit Barn: We enjoyed the fluffiest egg biscuits in town and felt the love in every bite. Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park: A deeply personal visit for us. We finally got to visit the home of Rosie, a manatee Gerry "adopted" for me back in 2010. We also see alligators, black bears, and my favorite—the playful pelicans! Crump’s Landing: Relaxing waterfront vibes at a classic Florida Tiki bar. Fort Island Gulf Beach: Ending the journey with a sunset that brought the whole town together.
