On April 28th of 2021, the old station of Segamat had been relocated to a temporary station to give the way for the construction of the new station, where the old will be demolished. At the same time, a new, recently completed construction of viaduct has been opened for trains to use and access to the temporary station. From this moment, marked the end of three railway crossings (Bukit Siput, Paya Pulai, and Segamat/Jalan Muar). This changes will leave us never ending missing moments of the nostalgic vibe of the old railways in Segamat.
