Construction work worldwide accounts for the highest rates of workplace accidents. Many factors contribute to this sector's high number of accidents. This webinar will address the main sources of risk in the industry. About the speaker, Jorge Herránz He holds a degree in Chemical Sciences and a Master's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology. For over 15 years, he worked as an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician for Fremap Seguridad y Salud, an external prevention service in Spain. For the last three years, he has also carried out coordination and technical management work in Ecuador and Mexico for the same company. Currently, he coordinates risk prevention, quality, and environmental management for the central region of SICE in Spain. He specializes in working at heights, confined spaces, machine lockout/tagout procedures, emergency response and self-protection, and explosive atmospheres.
