Did We Pay the Price in Houmt Souk? | Djerba Market 🇹🇳

During our trip to the island of Djerba, Tunisia, we decided to visit Houmt Souk — the island’s main town and famous marketplace. We explored the colourful bazaars, wandered through the narrow streets, and browsed the many local shops selling traditional Tunisian goods. However, because our visit happened during Ramadan, many cafés and restaurants were closed during the day. After searching for a while, we finally managed to find somewhere open for a much-needed coffee ☕. We ended up buying a few local items, but it left us wondering… did we pay too much? 🤔 Since we didn’t really know what to expect before visiting Houmt Souk, the experience was a little surprising and we ended up leaving sooner than planned. But the big question is: Would we go back again?
